We are excited to be back on the Common for year 2! From May 1 – to late October, come enjoy a freshly brewed Harpoon beer in the heart of the historic Boston Common!
The Harpoon Beer Garden offers a great line up of local draft beer, plus wine, hard seltzer, hard cider, house margaritas, and non-alcoholic refreshments.
El Jefe’s Taqueria serves traditional Mexican street food, and there are ongoing live performances on the Emerson UnCommon stage.
All ages welcome and admission is free!

This lovely outdoor space is an urban oasis on the Boston Common. We are, however, subject to the weather and may close in rainy conditions.

INQUIRE NOWNo, you do not have to be 21+ to visit. We welcome all ages. However, if you wish to purchase and consume alcohol in the Beer Garden you must be 21+ with a valid drivers license or passport.
Yes! El Jefe’s Taqueria serves their menu of authentic Mexican street food. You can order and pick up from their kitchen adjacent to the Harpoon bar container.
No. The Harpoon Beer Garden and El Jefe’s Taqueria offer a broad selection of drinks and food.
We do not take reservations at the Harpoon Beer Garden at the UnCommon Corner. However, if you would like to arrange a visit for a group (15+ guests) please inquire here!
We love dogs and they are welcome at Harpoon Beer Garden at the UnCommon Corner provided they are under the handler’s control at all times, which in most cases this involves use of a harness or leash and their behavior does not interfere with other guests’ enjoyment of the Beer Garden।
Yes! We welcome large groups (15+ guests) and can provide reserved space and hospitality packages. Please inquire here!
We only offer outdoor seating and from time to time have to close the space due to rain.
