Octoberfest FAQs

When is Octoberfest Festival?

• Friday, October 3rd  – 6PM – 11PM (Doors close at 9:30pm)
• Saturday, October 4th – 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM (Doors close at 5:30 pm)

Can I pre-purchase tickets?

YES! We highly recommend pre-purchasing your tickets in advance, as we cannot guarantee day-of tickets will be available.

Can I go to the Festival if I don’t have a pre-purchased ticket?

You will be able to purchase tickets at the door, if capacity allows. Tickets are valid during the entire entrance operating hours. Due to capacity, there may be a wait to get in if you do not have a pre-purchased ticket! Day-of ticket prices will be at an increased rate.

I can no longer attend, can I give my ticket to a friend?

You are able to transfer a ticket to a friend! Open up your confirmation email and hit “Manage.”

How much does a ticket cost?

Friday Ticket:  $35 + TicketSignUp Fee (includes 1 beer ticket & souvenir cup) or $50 + TicketSignUp Fee (includes 3 beer tickets & souvenir cup).

Saturday Ticket: $45 + TicketSignUp Fee (includes 1 beer ticket & souvenir cup) or $60 + TicketSignUp Fee (includes 3 beer tickets & souvenir cup).

During the Early Oompah Sale, from August 18th – August 31st, $5 will be taken off the price of each ticket.

Day-of festival prices will be increased.

I am under 21. Can I still attend?

No! Octoberfest is strictly 21+ with a valid ID. No dogs allowed. If you’d like to celebrate Octoberfest with your dog, join us at our Dogtoberfest event at our brewery in Boston on Sunday, October 5th.

What should I expect if I attend Octoberfest?

• Live music from Boston’s hottest bands. Check the website for the band lineup.
• Flowing taps, live oompah music, stein-hoisting competitions, pretzel eating contests, chicken dancing, and more!
• Bar (credit and debit accepted) – $8 each. Check out our drink line-up here
• Plenty of food sold by local Food Trucks and Caterers

What should I wear?

Dress for the weather because although there are tents, the bathrooms are outside!

Harpoon Octoberfest is a cashless event.

We accept credit and debit cards.

Will the Beer Hall still be open?

The Beer Hall will be closed on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Can I work Octoberfest?

Yes! We are looking for friendly, responsible, and enthusiastic team mates to work alongside us during Octoberfest this year!
